I feel like I have been good about not repeating dishes, but it is getting tough. Some of our favorites bear repeating, but I’ll try for a few more new recipes (at least to the blog) before I repeat.
Here is the plan:
Monday: Broiled red snapper with lemon butter, lentils, cauliflower
Tuesday: Honey Glazed Chicken (Everyday Food Magazine), zucchini, asparagus, brown rice
Wednesday: Meatloaf (L’s request), mashed Yukon Gold potatoes, carrots, salad
Thursday: Pasta with Puttanesca Sauce, salad
Friday: TBD, friends over for dinner
Sunday: Out for dinner, bringing a course – Kids Cook?
With friends joining us for dinner on Friday, we’ll probably have something that is fun and kid friendly. Maybe pizzas that the kids make themselves. I’m hearing that grilled pizza is very good and while we’ve tried to make pizzas on the grill outside using our pizza stone, to pretty good success (boy, they cook quickly!), I haven’t made them on the grill grates. I’ll have to do some hunting through the magazines/books/internet.
